On a space available basis for $5pp. Availability varies from cruise to cruise from zero to ample.

Yes, breakfast is free and I have yet to hear of anybody being told space was not available at breakfast. Dinner is $5 per/person per/dinner and is on space-available-basis; some people have reported being informed space was not available for dinner but others have reported having success.

what kind of breakfast is it?

It is pretty nice; waiter service with typical breakfast foods plus some nice extras such as no charge fresh squeezed juice, fruit smoothies and my favorite dish - museli served tableside where you pick your ingredients. I also like their Bluberry pancakes.
