Soda Card Question That I Can't Find the Answer

My question is: can you REPLENLISH your supply from the ports of call and bring it on through out the cruise? without it being confiscated.

Yes you can :) I am a Pepsi drinker and always bring on a 12 back and also buy one more at one of the ports half way through, no one has ever said one word about it on nine cruises with Carnival. Have fun on your trip!

They do not charge tax no matter when you purchase this.

Stop giving out this false information?

I was on the Freedom 11/5-11/13 purchased the sticker on embarkation day and tax was added plus the 15% gratuity. On of the people sailing with us bought theirs the 1st day at sea and no tax was added just the gratuity

I got off the Glory on sunday. Carnival still has coke products. I don't remember them saying they had ginger ale but I didn't ask either.

Prior to leaving Miami they do add tax.

You could buy a card on the day of sailing and the first full day on board (this was a 7 day cruise) only.

Buying on the day after sailing does save you one day. We paid $41.40 including tip for our soda card the morning after sailing.

A can of soda is $2.24 including tip.

I port we did bring on a few bottles of pepsi and no one said anything to us.

I can't believe some one will spend over $1000.00 to go on a cruise and then worry about paying tax on a soda card.

Exactly my thought.

If a few bucks more will be the end and you need to worry about it, then you should be working somewhere and not off on a Cruise.

I read on the Carnival website that the Unlimited Soda Card is $6 per day. Here's my question: On a seven day cruise, I understand the card would be $42, but can you wait until there are are 3 days left and get it for $18 if you choose to do so? (I will take my coke zero, but I may deplete my supply :()

Thanks for anyone that has info. on this particular question.

Is this still applicable for this year? its shocking the price difference considering its exactly the same package :eek: could anyone confirm this to be true?
