hotrock Posted November 1, 2011 #1 Share Posted November 1, 2011 Will be sailing on the VOS out of New Orleans. Can I pre-order my tickets to the ice show or do I have to wait 'til I board? If so, how? Also, how can I find out what the show times are for the ice show?
CroozeAddict Posted November 1, 2011 #2 Share Posted November 1, 2011 When we sailed on Liberty, there were no tickets. Unless things have changed, it was first come, first serve.
Jimnbigd Posted November 1, 2011 #3 Share Posted November 1, 2011 No. The last two times I was on the Voyager of the Seas, the ice show did not require nor distribute tickets. It was "first come, first served". There probably will be 4 shows -- 2 on the first day and 2 on another day. The shows on the "other day" usually have more availability. If tickets are handed out, it will be your first morning on the ship around 9am or so, probably on deck 3 in front of the main theater -- that's where we got tickets before when tickets were used. If tickets are not uses, you might want to get in line 30 minutes or so before the show. As for actual show times, you won't know until you get your daily schedule the evening before, but I'm pretty sure there will be two shows the first full day (day 2 of your sailing -- Sunday) and two other shows, maybe Tuesday afternoon or night. It is the same show all four time -- just repeated so most pax can see it. There is also free open ice skating for the pax, including free skate rental, usually later on in the cruise. leonardofan Posted November 1, 2011 #4 Share Posted November 1, 2011 When I was on you had to wait until you were on board. They'll announce the availability on the daily newsletter. They have special performances if you are of a suitable Crown and Anchor Society level
hotrock Posted November 1, 2011 Author #5 Share Posted November 1, 2011 Thanks. I just want to make sure I get to see the show. The ice skating show is always a favorite of many people. Not sure how they will put on such a great show in a small venue with the ship moving!! The skaters are amazing.
