Cabin advice on Dawn

I am currently booked in an AC cabin . I am consedering upgrading to AB mainly due to what I have read here concerning the wind on the balcony being so far forward. Is it worth the $250 pp they are asking?

Yes!!!!! I ended up paying 200pp for the upgrade and it was worth every penny.

Thanks Kuppykat. I will call my TA first thing tomorrow. If you don't mind, other than location, what is the major difference between AC & AB

The AC is one room that holds a bed, table and 4 chairs, love seat and chair. The deck is larger than the AB penthouse deck.

The AB penthouse has 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms. a living room and dining combo and a nice size deck....In my opinion there is no comparison.
The few hundred dollars you will forget in a week or two but the cabin you won't.

There is one problem though, after you upgrade it's difficult to cruise again with a smaller cabin....you become spoiled.

Call your TA and upgrade, you wont be sorry........Linda

Also, The AB cabin has a jacuzzi tub abd separate shower in one of the bathrooms the AC only has a tub and shower combo.

I am not putting the AC cabin down so please don't take this the wrong way; it's just that the AB is much nicer.....

Thanks Linda. You pretty much echoed my TA. When I asked her to check on the upgrade, she said she would call me back. Received call back within 30 minutes. (was very impressed). She also informed me that NCL said that I would be very happy in the AC and she put no pressure on me to upgrade, but based on previous reads and your replies, I think I will take the offer. You're quite welcome.....Oh I forgot to mention, The AB also has 4 tv's one right above your bathtub....lol. Good luck and enjoy your cruise.....

Bring your own music cd's, they play well on the dvd players in the LR & MBR players. Movies are available through the concierge or the desk. If Lani is your butler say hi from Denise. Can't wait until we're back on the Dawn in december

y'know we didn't bring the laptop so I'm not sure.(trying to escape any hint of work while onboard)I think there may have been a port, however, in the 2nd bedroom. There is wi-fi onboard and you can pick it up in alot of spots.

There is a port for the puter in the living room along side the love seat.
I was going to bring my laptop and am glad I didn't lug it with me. As it was I went to the internet cafe and bought the 100 minutes for 55.00 and ended up only using 40 minutes out of the 100. I was really surprised I didn't miss the computer at all....Linda
