Coordinating ground transport

You don't say whether you are a car driver or not. But you can fly from Newcastle to Heathrow (BA) - where presumably you would pick up your flight to Las Vegas. And then you could fly back to Newcastle from Southampton (BMI).

If you don't want to fly in UK then either do one way care hire & drive to Heathrow & do similar on return from Southampton (it's a long way though).

Or take the train. Newcastle to London Kings X is 3 hours, then Kings X to Heathrow on Underground is direct on Picadilly line.(? 40 mins) Coming back, train to London Victoria - black cab across London to KX & back to Newcastle.

Or National Express coaches are cheap (but boring!)

Hope that helps. It might be more down to how you feel about transporting your luggage...........(PS.If you want to know about luggage firms I have just used one to get my suitcase back from Montreal to the UK - worked brilliantly & cheaper than white star)
