Lindy Sue Posted November 3, 2011 #1 Share Posted November 3, 2011 A DVD player in the stateroom? I have a particular workout video I love to begin my day with and wanted to bring it along. (No, there is no jumping, yelling, pounding, etc. involved so I won't disturb those under, over, or around me :o) I love the Fitness Centers on RCI ships, but sometimes I can't get the machines I prefer, so the DVD would help insure I get my exercise in each day. Also, does anyone know if you can use an iPhone in St. Thomas without incurring additional charges? I know back in 2006 there were no charges, but that was a looooooong time ago. ;) Thanks for any input!
TonyFred Posted November 3, 2011 #2 Share Posted November 3, 2011 No DVD players in the balcony cabins. Maybe suites have them...not sure.
RevSmith Posted November 3, 2011 #3 Share Posted November 3, 2011 Unless you have a suite there is no DVD player. You could bring along your computer and use that to play your exercise disk. If it's a tape, then you are out of luck unless you have a Grand Suite or above. But there are plenty on interesting an fun ways to exercise on the ship, including a nice sunrise walk up on deck twelve. Have a wonderful trip. Lindy Sue Posted November 3, 2011 Author #4 Share Posted November 3, 2011 WOW! Thanks for the quick response. We are only in a JS, so probably out of luck. Oh well, looks like the walk/jog track will be getting my attention when I can't get to the Fitness Center!
Lindy Sue Posted November 3, 2011 Author #5 Share Posted November 3, 2011 Appreciate the responses regarding DVD players. Does anyone know about iPhone use in St. Thomas?
PeterPan Posted November 3, 2011 #6 Share Posted November 3, 2011 Your iphone charges depend on your carrier. Verizon? ATT? You need to check out your plan to see if St Thomas is included. It is considered part of my home area on my Verizon plan, so no roaming charges.
Rare silentbob007 Posted November 3, 2011 #7 Share Posted November 3, 2011 My ATT phone worked in St. Thomas with no issues and it was in my standard plan.
