From LeHavre, is Mont St. Michel & Normandy beaches possible?

We will have a long day in LeHavre, 7:00am to 8:00pm. Just wondering if it is possible to visit Mont St. Michel and then have adequate time to visit the D-Day beaches and cemeteries. June.

Also what time do the car rental agencies open in the am?

Thanks in advance for any advice!

We did this in September 2008. We rented a car right at the port (reserved ahead of time). I don't remember when they opened but I think it was 8am. First we drove to MSM. We did the audio tour and spent most of our time there. We decided that we had time to go to the D-Day beaches. So we bought lunch to eat in the car. We had enough time at the beaches to see the films in the center, walk down to the beach (and back up) and visit the cemetery. I would have like to have a little more time there but we didn't plan to go there. Our main interest was MSM.
