Top 3 Hotel in Galveston??

We are currently booked at the Best Western Plus Seawall Inn & Suites, but I have read so many mix reviews about this place that I'm not sure anymore that it's a good place for us:o

 

What are your top 3 hotels in Galveston?

 

We are planning to spend 2 days pre-cruise next august.

Well I am going to give you my opinion for the top 5:

 

The Galvez, The Tremont, San Luis Resort, Harbor House and Moodey

Gardens.

 

Galvez and San Luis are on the Seawall across the street from the beach and walking distance to restaurants.

 

Tremont and Harbor House are on the Strand and walking distance to restaurants.

 

Moodey Gardens is off by itself so it would be my last choice unless you have a car and do not mind driving to beach, strand and restaurants. There is alot to do in the Moodey Garden complex but still my least favorite.

I agree, San Luis hard to beat, has parking & trans to & from ship. Very nice property, pay for what you get.

The Hilton on the Seawall is awesome, the San Luis is also top notch and the Hotel Galvez... Top 3..
