Ectasy Embarkation Monday. 3:30Pm Really???

I really hate to squander part of my vacation if it will actually start boarding around 11 am like most cruises. However I hate to get there around 9:30 or 10 and stand in line for 5 hours. Anyone have the straight info on this?

While on our way to New Orleans, we experienced a technical problem with the ship’s propulsion system which has been resolved. However, since it affected her cruising speed, our arrival tomorrow will be delayed.

Also, didja know the Carnival Elation was just in dry-dock getting a makeover? That's right; even she needs a little care and attention now and then to keep her glamorous looks. Our onboard team is working very hard on a few last minute final touches.

Therefore, due to these delays, boarding will be running a little late. For your comfort and convenience, we encourage you to make plans to arrive at the terminal no earlier than 2:30 PM. Check-in is scheduled from 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM and sailing is set for 6:00 PM. Don’t worry, this delay will not impact our itinerary.

Ecstasy just left New Orleans today so maybe thats why its later??

 

I dont know either, as the ship is still marking its way to florida. boo hoo about losing her.
