Rahi Posted November 15, 2011 #1 Share Posted November 15, 2011 I am puzzled as to what cruise line they work for. If you say they work for NCL,etc. Then they don't work til the next Sat, or Sun , when the boats return? I can see if you say they work for NCL, HAL, and Carnival, and any other ships that sail from that NYC port.

rvsullivan Posted November 15, 2011 #3 Share Posted November 15, 2011 There usually only one or two reps of the cruise line at check in. Those are all contract employee's that work for the port or an agency. Mostly part time jobs for folks. That's why they are not a lot of help with "issues" or upgrades etc.
garycarla Posted November 16, 2011 #4 Share Posted November 16, 2011 They are just temps. Some do it on a regular basis. Some just came onboard (no pun intended)
