How strenuous is the Samur snorkel excursion?

I am an experiences snorkeler but I am 61 and overweight. Is the climb from the Samur into the Zodiac difficult?

VERY difficult. Plus it was crowded, and not even a pretty boat.

 

I would not do it again. Just take the public ferry over to Klein Bonair - they go to the same snorkle spot as the Samur....

Once the public water taxi drops you off at the beach can you do the drift snorkel that the Zodiac would have taken you to? If not, do you know how to get to that drift snorkel reef?
