Dream waterworks on embarkation day

We are sailing on the Dream on 12-10-11 and I want to know if the slides and the waterworks are open when we board so we can use them that day?

My kids were going down those slides as soon as they could on embarkation day! Once we got into our cabins at 1:30, they changed and were going down those slides by 2!!
