Liberty / Port Everglades / wi-fi

I've seen a few people post that they have or were on-line in their balcony on the Liberty at Port Everglades. Is there free wi-fi that one can pick-up or are you just using your phone? Just wondering if any free wi-fi was able to get picked up while the Liberty is docked in Port Everglades.

I seriously doubt there is free wifi anywhere at the port ... it is in an industrial area. My guess is that people were just on their wireless devices.

Terminal 18 supposedly has free wi-fi. Haven't sailed out of this terminal yet, can't confirm personally. Not sure if you'd be in range at terminal 25, but perhaps from the height of a balcony, it's theoretically possible. I'll find out in a couple weeks!

As an aside, FLL Airport has free wi-fi throughout the terminals.

I was just at port everglades 2 weeks back boarding the liberty, the terminal in the port we were in had free wifi, or at least it had an unprotected wifi network that I happily hopped on

Yes....terminal 25 does have free WiFi
