CleoV Posted November 21, 2011 #1 Share Posted November 21, 2011 We are looking at a Silversea cruise from Fort Lauderdale to Valparaiso, Chile in early January (10th-27th). Can anyone tell me what the sea conditions along the Pacific Coast (Panama to Valparaiso) are, in general, in Jan? Is the weather generally warm, or should we plan for cool days? biker1972 Posted November 21, 2011 #2 Share Posted November 21, 2011 Think hot and humid, especially canal area. Think hot and dry as you go further south. Think cool evenings on board. Think of snow somewhere in the North and grin :D! Great cruise.
Rare Keith1010 Posted November 21, 2011 #3 Share Posted November 21, 2011 We found the seas to be relatively calm as we made our way from Florida over to South America. No one can ever guarantee the sea conditions but on two crossings over to South America from Florida/Caribbean they have been nice. It is summer in South America that time of year.
