Looking for anyone who has been to the Baboon Sanctuary...

We're still tossing around what to do in Belize. Our original plan was to go to Lamanai - but I'm considering Nacho and Cynthia's combo tour to Altun Ha and the Baboon Sanctuary.

Our family has seen Howler Monkey's in the wild before, so my question would be for those who have been there - do you get the opportunity to interact with the monkey's at all? That would be the reason to go there instead of Lamanai for us. And combining it with Altun Ha, we'd still get the chance to see some ruins.

Thanks!

We went last week with Nacho and Cynthia. We had Pedro as Nacho had a larger group the same day so it may be a little different if he is there but if you have saw them in the wild this is about the same thing. There were six of us and we did get to feed them a piece of banana. We spent about thirty minutes there and we may could have spent another fifteen minutes but we were tight on time.It was a great experience but not something I would do again if I wanted to spend more time doing something else. As for using Nacho and Cynthia I think they do great job what ever you choose to do.
