If these rooms have a connecting door, will balconies connect?

For those who have been in a 2 bedroom family suite on deck 11 and minisuite on dect 11 as well: I have friends who are interested in booking one of each that have a connecting door between them. They looked at 11014(mini) & 11012 (2br) So they are wondering if these two balconies connect to each other or is the bathroom of the 2 br suite between them. I tried scoping out deck plans and matching them to Jewel pics, but I could not come up with a definitive answer. Please help if you can. Thanks

I am going to say the connecting door would be in the sitting area as opposed to the bed/bath (?master) so the balcony would be closer to the connecting cabin. Now if the balcony opens between the two I don't know. I will be nice if they do!

I can only speak for the Star. I can tell you that a divider between the balconies can be opened.

 

The connecting door between the cabins is in the little hallway, just opposite of the door into the 2nd (smaller) bedroom.

In all the two-bedroom suites I have been in, the connecting door is from the living room, so it was always on the same side as the balcony (a connecting door in the bedroom would be unusual and I'm not sure it would even fit!)..

 

The main thing is that it is completely up to the ship whether to allow the balconies to be opened and when. On the few opportunities we have had to connect them, we were told that they were permitted to be opened in port only - and the connectors needed to be locked back up when underway.

NCL has been saying no open balcony dividers while at sea. Only in port. You may get lucky.
