oceanview cabins on the ruby princess

We are planning a cruise on the Ruby Princess and plan to take a category DD for our daughter and son-in-law. Has anyone stayed in this level cabin and is it arranged with the bed against the window or against the side walls. Thanks

Almost all of the OV cabins have the beds beneath the windows. Certainly all of the quad cabins do, and the DD cabins are almost all quads. EM

I and my family have been on a variety of OV rooms on the Ruby and identical sisters Crown and Emerald and none of them have had the bed beneath the window. One of them was E402, a DD category; bed against the wall. Can't say about quad cabins.

I have been in two partially obstructed OV cabins and both had the beds against the wall.

We were in P230 on the Ruby and my sister was in the next cabin. Both of our cabins had the queen bed with the head under the window.

Both of the times I've been in EE cabins (forward part of Plaza deck) they have had beds under the window. I also had a bed under the window in one of the Emerald deck non-obstructed OV cabins too.
