roothy123 Posted December 17, 2011 #26 Share Posted December 17, 2011 Last year on Regatta we booked a cruise for this year, and locked in the cabin category we wanted. We were told we could change later to a different cruise, but we're sticking with the one we chose. The only thing that alarmed me a bit was that my husband has a pre-existing medical condition. To be covered by almost all of the insurance companies on insuremytrip.com, you need to buy insurance very soon after you make that first deposit to have the pre-existing condition covered. I don't think this applies to insurance purchased through Oceania, so it's probably not a huge deal to most people, but I just thought I'd mention it. If Oceania is now offering vouchers, that makes things a bit easier, as you don't have to worry about insurance right away.
Ricky Chan Posted December 18, 2011 Author #27 Share Posted December 18, 2011 FYI:$750pp for vouchers ("Future Cruise Deposit" certificate) good for two years. Discount is 5%. $500pp if you book a specific sail date/category. Suites are a deposit of 10%. Discount ranges from 5% to 10%. Jancruz1 Thanks a lot.
