Grand Cayman Bus/Taxi to Rum Point

Does anyone know if the public bus runs to Rum Point on the north side? If not, about how much is a taxi?

A taxi will be about $72 US each way, with return arrangements a MUST, as there is no regular taxi or bus service to Rum Point. If you want to visit, renting a car or finding an excursion with it as a stop are better bets.

I was looking at that beach on the Carnival excursions web page. It was rated only 2 out of 5 stars and everyone complained about a rocky beach. Is this the same beach?

Seven Mile Beach is like this for the most part. The extreme northern and southern ends can be rocky, but there are no beach clubs located there.

 

 

 

My guess is the Carnival excursion you mention is to Tiki Beach's section of Seven Mile Beach which has some rock at the water-line. You can see it in this image.

Yes, I was referring to Seven Mile Beach, but from the looks of your pics, I think it would do just fine. However I did come across a tour to Rum Point with a company called Native Way Watersports that seems to have nothing but rave reviews. I just might try them since I keep hearing good things about Rum Point.
