Magic pasta restaurant hours

We are booked on the Magic 2/12/12. Was wondering if this place (Cucina De Capitano, hope I spelled that right) is open for lunch during embarkation in Galveston. Thought it might be nice to go there instead of the buffet first thing on board. Thank you!

If the Fun Times posted on John Heald's blog are correct, a pasta bar should be open at lunch in Cucina del Capitano on departure day.

you choose Pasta/Sauce. includes bread/salad. and Lasugna --- its The BEST!!!

Dinner (5-10pm) reservations required, $12.00 upcharge. (worth it)

full menu(different than lunch) appitizer, bread, main course and dessert.

We are planning to cruise the Magic next year. I cannot wait, everything sounds so great. Is there a Guys burger place on the Magic as well?

No Guys burgers... but the Sliders and other PubGrub inthe RedFrog Pub are Really good.... ($3.33 up charge- worth it)

Chicken Parmesan looked Fab!!! took up the Entire Plate!

Shrimp dish I think. And Salmon, I think. I had the Carbanara, (and Im not a Pasta Person..) it was the Best I have Ever Had!!

Agreed!

I too had the Carbanara when we were on the Magic - last week. It was FANTASTIC - some of the best I have ever had and I have tried it lots of different places ;).

Not even close to the Carbanara entree/starter served in the MDR - would definately order it again!

Pasta bar was open every day from 12-2:30, including embarkation day. Embarkation day was great - it was obvious we were the first ones to walk up there, and it was nice to escape the craziness in the Lido downstairs.
