Has anyone been on a Carnival cruise to the Bahamas that ports in Nassau at noon...

I need to know if this cruise I am looking at will offer a day trip to Atlantis.

The reservation specialist could not tell me, they won't email me back from the shore excursion desk and the Atlantis was NO HELP

My kids want to go, and I won't book the cruise unless I know we will get a chance to go.

Any suggestions????

Thanks a billion.

Are you wanting to go to the waterpark? If so, not arriving in Nassau until noon is really too late to enjoy the waterpark. Not sure when you are going but the waterpark closes early in the winter around 4 or 4:30 pm I believe. Even during the months it's open til 5 or 6 pm (can't remember the closing times) getting there at noon makes it tough since the crowds and lines are longer in the afternoon.

We went on the 4 day Fascination cruise this summer that went to Nassau and Freeport. Chose it because the arrival time in Nassau was 8 am. For the waterpark getting into Nassau around 7-8 am is best.

If you are just wanting to see the aquarium and/or beach you can take a taxi and buy the tickets to those areas on your own.

One last thing about the waterpark. Go to the Bahamas section of the Ports of Call forum and search "Atlantis". You will find lots of info and the two best ways to get tickets to Atlantis waterpark cheaper than thru te cruiseline. One is booking a room at Comfort Suites, Paradise Island (they have an agreement with Atlantis and you get access to the waterpark). The other is thru Majestictoursbahamas.com. They sell tickets for the same price as going thru Atlantis directly. Buying at Atlantis directly is on a first come, first served, limited quantity basis and may not have any available depending on the day you are there. The do not sell out of the aquarium or beach passes though just waterpark.

You'll have time to go to Atlantis but depending on the time of year, it might be too cold to enjoy the water.
