Marina Cruiser in Caribbean Wanted

Hi. I was hoping that someone who has cruised on Marina in the Caribbean and tendered into Key West could tell me where the tender goes. Is it near Mallory Square, I assume? Thanks.

I have not been to Key West on the Marina, but I was there twice on a cruiseship as big as the Marina, and we never tendered. Twice we docked at Mallory square.

Just off the Marina a couple of days ago. In Key West, we were at a dock almost within sight of Mallory Square but water in between. Oceania provided a shuttle to Mallory Square so not too bad but definitely not an easy walk (or swim).

In Key West, as in most ports, it is the ships that call on the port weekly that tend to get the best berths, so it really matters most what other ships are in port that day as to whether or not you get the most desirable positions.

M = Mallory Square, OM = Outer Mole, B = Pier B

 

(Arrivals at Outer Mole are shuttled to Mallory Square)

 

 

 

January 14, 2012 Marina is scheduled to be at Pier B (only ship in port)

 

February 27, 2012 Marina is scheduled to be at Outer Mole (OM) with Ryndam at Mallory Square and Carnival Valor at Pier B.

I guess that's where we'll be, Outer Mole (strange name!!), since we'll be there the 27th. Thanks for the info, everyone.
