DonnaK Posted December 26, 2011 #1 Share Posted December 26, 2011 We are platinum RCI. What are the benefits of booking a Celebrity cruise while on our next RCI ship? (We are leaving Friday, and Celebrity is having a sale this week on the sailing we are looking at!) Do we qualify for reiciprocal status on Celebrity? (I know that the statuses are not additive) Also, we currently have a May 2012 RCI cruise that we booked while on our last RCI cruise. Can we change that one to the Celebrity cruise, keeping the reservation #, and retaining the benefits? Or, can we only change that one to another RCI cruise? M&M Hayden Posted December 26, 2011 #2 Share Posted December 26, 2011 If you book a Celebrity cruise while on RCL you get the On Board Credit (amount depends on length of cruise). I believe you can get reciprocal status in the Captains Club. After you get back from your cruise call the Captains Club and enroll, they will look up your status and get you enrolled and have them put your CC # in your reservation. You can't change an RCL reservation to a Celebrity, but you can change it to another RCL reservation retaining the booking # and benefits.
