Kauai ATV Tour

We are looking at ATV tours on Kauai for our cruise trip. Found a tour through Adventures in Hawaii that goes to Kipu Ranch. We were looking at the afternoon mountain tour at 1PM. It is a three tour, ending at 4 pm. Our cruise ship leave at 5 p.m. Would that give us enough time? Also were going to take a taxi to there and back. How far is it to Kipu ranch via taxi and what might a taxi cost? Would they be right there to take us back?

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

That would be too close for my comfort. Remember your ship leaves at 5:00, but you have to be back on board at 4:30.

Call the tour company they will know for sure but my gut says no plus your not allowing for a) slow taxi arrival and b) traffic jams or accidents.

Like other poster says you need to be on board 1/2 hout prior to ship departing.

Thanks for the input. I figured it would be a close call. We booked an ATV tour on Honolulu instead.
