This issue has been debated on a number of occasions on this board, with a general view that the board is small enough not to need seperate 'roll calls'.

Thank you, Silver Spectre, for the explanation. I cruised last year on the Whisper, and I didn't understand the lack of roll call interest. This year I'll be on the Cloud, which is worrying me because of all the a/c problems I've read about, and the roll call disappeared after about a week!

 

I guess it's true that with only (at max) 289 other people to meet you really don't need a roll call!

My Wife and I are on the Cloud beginning Jan. 7 and we too are concerned about the A/C. From what I read it has been fixed, but it is a sign that the Cloud is way overdue for a full Drydock.
