Carnival cruise with entire family....Resort day pass info needed

Hello-

 

I was hoping someone could point me in the right direction. We are traveling with our entire family this spring. That includes two sets of grandparents, 5 grown children, and 3 grandchildren ( ages 10, 9 and 14 months). I have done some research and found a few websites for day passes including resortsforaday.com I was hoping to find some more advice on suggested resorts that offer day passes/pool use even maybe the option of using a hotel room. We also found Serenity tours in St. Lucia. The ports of call are St. Thomas, St. Lucia, Barbados, St. Maarten and St. Kitts.

 

We know having access to shade, bathrooms and pools will be key especially for the grandchildren!

Best Western Emerald Beach Resort in St. Thomas has day rooms. The beach is free but we booked a room for my wife, myself, our 2 kids and my mother and sister in law. This gives us access to their pool, beach toys etc plus a room to retire to if it gets too hot and for a private washroom, which my wife, daughter, mother and sister in law appreciate. It has gotten good reviews so far and was listed in the Top 10 book on St. Thomas.

Jonah315 - do you remember how much the day room cost? We are thinking of visiting this beach and that would be great. Do "hotel guests" have to pay for chairs/umbrellas at the beach?
