Taxi tour from dock

Just outside the terminal, I know that taxis are lined up to take you downtown or to a beach.

 

If taxi island tours are still available at the dock, approx what do they cost per person and how long would they take? Could one end by dropping you at a beach for at least an hour, maybe Carlisle, and then get back to the ship (full circle) on your own?

Must taxi tours be pre-arranged, or can you catch one at the dock?

You can arrange a tour where the ship docks. It's probably best to walk outside the port area to the round-about to arrange a taxi tour because the taxis inside the port area are usually more expensive.

 

However, there are many reputable tour companies in Barbados. You can search these boards to find the ones that are highly recommended.
