jkmmah Posted January 2, 2012 #1 Share Posted January 2, 2012 Would you help me plan the best way to take in Versailles gardens and Atlantis? We'll be in port from 10a-6p. We don't care about the dig, beach, pools or aquarium at Atlantis. We just want to go wander around as much as we're allowed in the public areas without needing a daypass. Also want to take in the gardens. Which should we go to first? Should we take the water taxi or a regular taxi from the docks? Thank you!

If you're in good shape, I'd grab a cab to the gardens, spends some time, then walk back (it's downhill). Keep in mind, there's not much you can see at Atlantis that doesn't require a day pass. You can wander around the marina Village (which isn't actually on the Atlantis grounds, but once you enter the lobby, you'll be excorted to the casino area.. You are no longer allowed to just wander around the lobbies.. and you may not venture outside on the verandah to view the property. Personally, I wouldn't wast my time here. It's a hotel.. nothing more. Be aware that traffic backs up on the bridge starting at 4:30pm.. so you'll need be be heading back by that time..
