My husband and I are both booked. Going into Barcelona two days early just to help with jet lag and extending for 4 nights in Venice. Still working on hotels in Venice and air.

We just booked our air. We're flying into Madrid, arriving the 10th. Staying the night there and then going to Barcelona the morning of the cruise. Staying 1 extra night in Venice coming back. Having a hard time deciding on Venice hotels. I'd like to stay around St. Mark's but the hotels are a little more than I was hoping to pay, and we have to get to the airport for a 7:40 am flight on the 24th. Normally wouldn't be a concern, but I've never been to Venice and am worried about transportation that early in the morning in a city that's mostly water.
