Looking for answer on NCL web site

I was just comparing two NCL Cruises, one on the Sun the other on the Jewel, both leave Miami 4/21/13, however one indicates Panama Canal and then the word overnight, the other specifically indicates a daytime transit of the canal. Both leave Colombia only an hour apart the day before going through the canal, does that mean that we would not see the canal during the day at all if we were to take the one indicating overnight? I've tried looking at the NCL web site and no luck finding the answer.

If you begin a dummy booking on each one, you can click on the "Itinerary Detail" button. When you do that, both of them indicate "overnight." I believe that is simply an indication that there will be no ports of call, and that at least part of your passing in the canal will be overnight.

I'm sure someone else can offer more specific info.
