Jewel 1600

My wife and I are sailing on the Jewel this Sat,has anyone been in cabin 1600 in the recent past?Any insight would be much appreciated.

Yes, we have been in this cabin.

 

It's a very spacious Grand Suite, aft, on the starboard side. Nice marble entry way, and the main part of the cabin is to the right.

 

Very large double closet, but it's next to the bed, which was a bit awkward at times. Large bathroom, gold fixtures. Bathtub with high sides (if you have mobility problems, it could be a bit daunting getting in and out of the tub). The tub and shower are one, so even if you want to take a shower, you have to get into the tub.

 

Two easy chairs, glass topped "coffee table", plus a couch. Nice wrap around balcony with lounge chairs and regular chairs.

 

According to my travel agent, it's the largest Grand Suite on the ship, due to its corner aft location. If you snoop around on the 'net, you can probably find some photos. Enjoy.
