Cozumel - current water temps

Anyone been diving or snorkeling in Cozumel recently? We'll be there next week and I was wondering about the water temperature. I found a website that said it was 80 degrees. That sounded a bit high but it would be wonderful if it was true! :)

Early last February my dive computer read 80 degrees in Cozumel, Grand Cayman, and Jamaica. Hopefully just as warm this year.

OMG! Thank you for the great news! I'll be there, too, and was wondering the same thing! I think the water will be warmer than the air temps, weird!

And where exactly are you snorkeling?

We were there for a week a few summers ago and took 2 snorkel trips. They were both decent, but a bit cheesy. I'd love a recommendation if you have one.
