Conanc Posted January 5, 2012 #1 Share Posted January 5, 2012 Hello, I was wondering how My Time Dining works for large parties on the Serenade of the Seas? How smoothly does My Time Dining go for large groups? Currently, we are scheduled for late dining. My husband and I do not mind late dining at all, but some in our party are questioning whether or not this is too late. I am assuming we would choose a specific time and stick with the same table and waiters to avoid wait times with such a large group? Four in our party of nine would like to be able to see all of the shows. Since these are scheduled around traditional dining, what time would you suggest to make a My Time dining reservation for in order not to miss the shows. I would love to hear about your own experience (good or bad) with My Time Dining, particularly with a large group. Thanks so much for your input! jst4fun715 Posted January 5, 2012 #2 Share Posted January 5, 2012 We were on the Serenade last year and did the MTD. We were only a group of 6, but right across from us was a large family that I believe had 8 or 9 members. We made a standing reservation for 6:45 and they were there about the same time. Service was great and we were all out and on the way to the casino for a short time before the 9:00 show. You should be fine. We found the MTD to be quicker than the traditional dining. M&M Hayden Posted January 5, 2012 #4 Share Posted January 5, 2012 We were part of a group of 8 with my time dining on b2b sailings on Serenade last Feb/March. We made a 'set' reservation and got the same wait staff both weeks. Our table could have easily accommodated 9. I think our dinner was at 6:45 and we had no problem getting out to see the shows.
