Belize

My wife and 7 year old daughter and I wandered the town. Checked out a church, some local awesome architecture, talked to many locals, wandered blocks inland and checked out a grocery store, visited a school, ate local food (Gibnut). LOVED the place. Yes, it looks a bit rough and rundown, but all were friendly and the culture so very different.

We are hoping to return and maybe venture inland more out of the city. We went to see Belize City and we did. We were concerned if we cave tubed we'd never see the city and just some random cave in a jungle.

Scuba we can do elseware, the last place we want to spend vacation is in a Tourism Village, Chain Bar like Carlos/Charlies, Magaritaville etc..or a beach which looks like others in the Carribbean.
