Turtle Farm Questions - sunscreen, lockers, etc.

Hi, we are booked on the Turtle Farm excursion through Carnival.

Several years ago, we did the Xel-Ha snorkeling excursion and had to purchase biodegradable sunscreen at the park because our regular (US store-bought) was unacceptable for the wildlife.

Will we need to purchase biodegradable sunscreen for the turtle farm, or will the normal stuff be okay?

Also, are there lockers? Cost?

How much is the snorkel equipment to rent?

And what should I budget for lunch? Is $10-15 per person about right?

Just got back from Caymans. We did the Turtle Farm tour, the tour takes about 30-45 mins. After, you are free to snorkle, swim, use slides, etc. There are showers, restrooms and lockers. We had a group of 5 and did not rent a locker. We put our stuff in the beach chairs by the snorkle lagoon. One of us was back and to pretty regularly. I felt comfortable with the stuff there. Most others had their things in chairs also.

The food is a bit pricey, a hamburger and a turtle burger, 2 drinks was about $30 US dollars.

I don't remember them telling us we had to use a special sunscreen. I remember seeing others spraying the regular stuff.

Did you snorkel with the turtles? Was is worth the extra money? Thanls for the heads up about the food prices.
