Trying to find a place to stay the night before our cruise leaves from Fort Lauderdale. Looking for a place that has shuttle service from airport to the hotel and then to the port. Can anyone give me some feedback on where you have stayed before? Thanks!!!

We stayed at the Holiday Inn Airport. Nice rooms, Nice Pool and free shuttle to and from the airport and to the cruise terminal. We where told that they have shuttles at 10, 11, 12, 1 and they even offered us a late check out. Didn't need it because we took the 1000 shuttle because the 1100 was booked. Worked out prefect. We got to the terminal at 1030 and where eating lunch by 1130. Only had to wait about 15min after checking in before boarding. Best check-in. Sailed RCCL LOS.

There are a zillion hotels for this port, all posted on the FLORIDA departures board.

I stayed at the lowly Red Carpet last time, free airport and cruise shuttle and got it for $37ish on lastminute.

rodeway inn is next door for usually around $99 and includes the shuttles and breakfast. Both of these, you can use the restaurants back and forth, but there is pretty much nothing else near by.

Here is a link to shuttle info

give us a idea what kind of hotel you are looking for . .. higher end, lower end.. what dates and we can narrow it down more.

We stayed at the Dania Sleep Inn. We were lucky that right as I was talking to someone at Sleep Inn to pick us up at the airport, the shuttle was pulling up to the curb! When we got to SI, we signed up right away for an AM shuttle to the port to get the time we wanted. Only down side was that the shuttle picked up a couple other people from another location and then by the time we dropped off other passengers to the other ship drops, it seemed forever getting to our ship. It was no biggie, but when you have a belly full of butterflies, the ride always seems alot longer. If we leave out of Ft. Lauderdale again, we would stay at Sleep Inn. Nice hotel, within walking distance to the beach, Walgreens next door, and Pancho's Backyard is across the street...there are other places to eat within walking distance.

The Embassy Suites in FLL. Beautiful tropical pool area, manager's evening reception with free drinks, restaurant on site, several restaurants within a sort walking distance, retail stores all around, a supermarket right behind the hotel for those needed snacks and wine, within sight of the port, and a five minute ride to the terminal. Can't find anything better.

I second this. That's where we usually stay and we love it!

We are staying at the Gallery One Doubletree next week. Great hotel right on the waterway, with water taxi stop right at the hotel. Next door to Gallery Mall with restaurants, etc. The hotel uses a limo services that takes you to the hotel for $8 per person.
