Lml513 Posted January 13, 2012 #1 Share Posted January 13, 2012 Would there be a lot of college kids on Spring Break on 3/4 and 3/11 cruises from Tampa?

david_sobe Posted January 14, 2012 #3 Share Posted January 14, 2012 Thanks for this LOL Besides spring break crowds, I found out that cruises in March are 30% higher than those in February. Spring Break of course
JMHAM1 Posted January 14, 2012 #4 Share Posted January 14, 2012 One of our WORST cruises was the second week of April! UGH! The ship was full of obnoxious, drunken, loud and rude young people. At the time we were in our late 20's with no kids and even we thought it was too much.
LivingLifetotheFullest Posted January 14, 2012 #5 Share Posted January 14, 2012 As a Teacher, we are mostly limited to cruising on March Break. On our first cruise, there were a lot of young people, but they were never a problem. They actually made one catamaran excursion more fun than usual. You may find it a problem if you like to be around the pool lots. They tend to take over that area. I thought we would see more families and young kids as the 2nd week in March is a school holiday for elementary and secondary in Ontario. Once we sailed Christmas Break and noticed a great deal more families and kids then even on March Break.
