We are going to do the 7.5 hour tour and I am trying to decide if we will do the cart ride... is it worth it? and do you get to interact with the puppies if you do not do the cart ride....

If not we will do the Huskey Homestead while in Denali and a separate cart ride offered by Princess...

I thought I read that you do get to pet the puppies if you don't do the cart ride.....we are doing this in August

Puppies are where you stop with the tour bus. You can see them either way.

 

We thought it sounded silly for adults to go mushing on a sled with wheels, so we didn't do it. Others on our tour that did seemed to love it.

We didn't do the cart ride but still got to play with the puppies.

As everyone else said you can play with the puppies regardless. You can also view the cart dogs from outside the area. They get so excited when a cart comes in.

 

We didnt ride but heard it is very dusty.
