Tipping to bar servers

Just a quick question: many times I add a dollar or two to the 15% auto- gratuity to bar servers that I see on a regular basis during the cruise. Do they get this money, or is it added to the tip pool and split? Should I give this extra tip in cash so the server can keep it?

As long as you don't remove the DSC they can keep their tips.
