Wine Packages

CRUISE THE VINEYARDS PROGRAM

Prices recently went up (early 2012).

You can still save up to 25% off the regular bottle prices by using this program.

If you order by calling Bon Voyage you avoid paying the 15% gratuity charge that you get if purchasing the package onboard.

Once onboard you can purchase a wine package through the gift shop or through your waiter in the Main Dining Room. Both of these ways will incur the 15% gratuity charge.

Any way you order you will not have to select the actual wines in your package till you are in the Main Dining Room ready to drink one of them.

How the program works:

  • When ordering you select your package type: Basic, Deluxe, or Premium.
  • You are given a coupon for each wine in your wine package (5 wine package = 5 coupons). If you order by calling Bon Voyage your coupons will be left in your cabin. If you purchase through the gift shop or MDR your coupons will be given to you at that time.
  • You don't select your actual wine until you give your waiter a coupon in the Main Dining Room.
  • Once you give your waiter the coupon and your wine request the bottle is brought to your table. There is no added corkage fee.
  • If you don't finish the bottle you have 3 options: you can either take the bottle with you, have it delivered to your room or they will recork it and save it for your next visit to the dining room.

Check the Carnival Alcohol link below in my signature for full details and the wines offered.

Can the coupon be used on a later cruise? Like the bar credit ones?

They have both 3 and 5 bottle packages. If you don't think you'd use at least 3 then you're probably better off just buying individual bottles. The savings isn't enough to warrant carrying a coupon with you till you cruise next. Might as well have money in your pocket then a coupon till your next cruise.

If you still are considering it, give them a call...

Call: 800-522-7648 Monday-Friday 8am-4pm CST (online ordering is not available).

I just did a search and found this link that has all the info : http://www.boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=1536811&highlight=wine+package

Great link! I am dissapointed they have taken Robert Mondavi off the lists though. For those that really love your wine, what is comperable?

You are not limited to the dining room to use the wine coupons. You can retrieve the bottle at any bar. In September we shared a bottle by the pool with some new found friends.
