Can you rent Snorkeling equipment onboard?

On our first cruise, we rented equipment when we wanted it. After seeing how it was handled and cleaned  at various place, I would not do it again. If you are going to snorkle only this one time, you may just want to rent. If you plan to snorkle in the future, I would look into at least your own mask and snorkel. Some like to have their own fins also. You don't need to spend a lot on a set. Check places like Walmart, Sam's, Costco etc. and you can sometimes find them there. Also you can do a search online and sometimes find some good "package" deals. I just did not find the way we saw equipment "cleaned" to be what I would consider clean. Why take a chance when you can find reasonable prices and know you are the only one to use it. Yes, I know it is not always easy to pack, but I'd rather be safe than sorry. JMHO.

Voyager class ships do have a dive shop that rents snorkel equipment. We rented a vision corrected snorkel mask for my wife and I think it was $10 for the week.

Really? This would be great as my DH needs vision correction. This is the 1st time I've read that Voyager class ships have a dive shop. Which ship did you go on, and how long ago? Thank you for your post.
