kasil Posted January 18, 2012 #1 Share Posted January 18, 2012 My DH, DD (17) and DS (15) will be stopping at Grand Cayman in April. The kids and I have been before and did a great excursion with Stingray Sailing. My son wasn't thrilled with the sting rays and probably wouldn't get off the boat if we went again; my daughter doesn't care if we go again or do something else. My husband and I will probabaly cruise there again without the kids, so this isn't his only chance to see the stingrays. The turtle farm looks interesting but it gets mixed reviews. For the money, we'd probably pay more and see the entire park including the lagoon and aviary. For what it's worth, there will be 6 ships in port that day. It's going to be crowded. Which would you do? See the rays and go snorkeling even though at least one person won't enjoy the rays or try something new that may not live up the the website hype? Thanks for the help. :)
nlt46 Posted January 19, 2012 #2 Share Posted January 19, 2012 I would do something different if your son doesn't want to participate with the rays. There is always 7 mile beach and you can take an inexpensive bus to get there and back. Nancy
