Temps in Bahamas

How are the Bahama temps. (averages) in Dec. and Jan?. I'm thinking of cruising the Eastern route in one of these two months and have heard that it could be chilly.

was there mid jan on jewel of the seas it was chilly then still shorts weather though

The weather is about the same as it is in South Florida... It can be very nice, but it can also be quite cool & windy if you happen to hit the week that a cold front has come through. It can be anywhere from the 60's to the low 80's.

 

The rest of the typical islands on an Eastern Caribbean cruise though are spectacular in December & January!
