ipad2 microsim caribbean use?

I am planning on brining my ipad2 with me (uk resident). We are heading on Eastern caribbean with RCCL from FLL. I assume I can get a pay and go sim for these ports of call? Where can I get one in Fort Lauderdale when we arrive on the 15th March as we don't want to pay huge UK data roaming charges.

thanks

You will probably not get a signal till you are near a port,I usually turn off data roaming and use free wifi at the ports of call or when on board use my

Internet plan,

I did not realise a sim from the US would work in the Caribbean, in Florida most hotels have free wifi so roaming has never been an issue.

Would be interested in any info on this though.
