vboxer Posted January 22, 2012 #1 Share Posted January 22, 2012 An Italian consumer association (Codacons) launched a class action in favor of passengers. Here you can find the application form (in English): http://www.codacons.it/articolo.asp?idInfo=142507&id=74 This action is supported by two American law firms: Napoli Bern Ripka Shkolnik LLP and Proner e Proner. dizzy1948 Posted January 22, 2012 #2 Share Posted January 22, 2012 I can hear it now - ker chink - ker chink - ker chink. The sound of money rolling into lawyers bank accounts, along with the sharpening of pencils and ordering of extra legal pads............and the victim gets charged what????????????? Or are they doing it pro bono....I think not. With all due respect to Americans........only an American Lawyer would challenge the law in another country. Not watching anymore. All too silly. Before anyone says "it's maritime law"..........look at the small print in maritime law. The victims could be hurt twice here....because not all bandits wear masks
