Table for Three?

My wife and I with our daughter enjoy having dinner alone as a family.

We are booking the Dawn for next February. Is it difficult to book this seating (for three) with "Freestyle Dining?" I assume this request is necessary each night for dinner.

Are their certain restaurants that are more accomodating for this seating than others?

Freestyle means you can sit w/ whomever you want whenever you want. Just like at a restuarant on land. A table for 3 is no more or less difficult than a table for 2 or 4.

Happy sailing.

3 is not a problem. You can go to any of the restaurants(free, reservation(free), reservation with cover charge). You daughter can eat with you or without you...whatever you want to do...

The reserved ones you need to make a day in advance. Other than that go when you want to three is easy...

I traveled with my parents on the Dream this past November, and never encountered any problems. We sat at a table for 6 on most nights (with three empty place settings).

Sometimes we had to share a table in the Sports Bar during Breakfast hours, so my anti-social father decided to order room service instead.

I just spent 2 weeks on the Dawn (one week just isn't enough ) as part of a threesome. We were always seated at a table for 4 in Impressions, Venetian, Aqua, and Bamboo (didn't try the others); once the staff confirmed that no one else was joining us, the additional place setting was removed. There are many tables for 4 in all the dining rooms, so you should have no particular problems. Like everyone else, you may find that certain times are busier than others - but the fact that you are a party of 3 shouldn't be a problem.

The buffet is a different story; most of the tables are bigger and it is so popular that you are less likely to be at a table by yourselves.

Have a great cruise.
