Calico Jacks beach bar?

We are looking for a place to swim, sit on the beach and have a snack and a drink on Seven Mile beach.

Anyone been to Calico Jacks?

Any idea how many minutes the bus ride is from the tender pier?

It takes 15-20 minutes to get there and as much as 40 minutes to get back.

Just returned from a week in gc.

 

Calico jacks is good food and drinks. If you snorkel might I suggest staying on bus a couple more minutes to cemetery beach then you can walk the beach back to calico's for lunch. Great shores snorkeling at cemetery.

 

Other option closer to port is royal palms, good beach bar/ food. We also parasailed out of there, great ride with amazing views of the island and ships in port.

 

Palms also had a pool for adults I saw, never used it as relatives just down the beach.

Yes...traffic can get hairy on the return trip....just not enough road for the cars! Do watch the traffic and time your day accordingly. It's not hard..the road is right beside the beach!
