Carnival Dream upgrade question

Here is my situation...upgraded to inside with picture window (7207)...just found out beds absolutely do not convert when upgrading rep assured me they would...rep offered OV but all are on deck 1 and don't feel comfortable that low on ship...only other offer is $240 more to upgrade to balcony (they choose room). Any suggestions on negotiating with them?

I thought the OV cabins on the Riviera Deck were amazing!! Not a thing wrong with having the extra half bath!!!

The only exception, I believe, are the 6A cabins and I think there's only about five of them...

Yes, take the Riviera OV. Lots of space, and great rooms. Can't go wrong.

OVs near the water are nice... fun to look out and see the water 'right there'

Nothing worng with being on a low deck...less rocking.

(not like in the olden days...low decks are no longer 'steerage')

The beds can be moved together, just not the headboard.

Kinda thinking I'll keep it...hubby smokes so he can zip right out the door in the morning with his coffee...will try to get beds moved when we get there...if not we will survive...married 31 years we can figure it out..can use that extra $240.
