OP said he "just posted" his Mariner review. If I recall correctly, there is a bit of lag time between the time of posting and when the review appears. Look forward to reading this review. We have friends still onboard (doing a b2b), and I've been wondering what impact the fog had on their departure, last week.

How about an update on the live entertainment. What bands to they have playing?

Still bad smoke in the Pub?

Do they offer the souviner bag/cooler of beer by the pool?

Noro?

Do they allow the balcony dividers to be opened?

I was also on the 1/15 sailing - what a great ship, and 6 straight days of sun certainly helped!

 

-Yes - the Pub is still smoking

[They offered a bucket of beer at the pool, I didn't see a cooler

-No Noro for any of our party - and didn't hear of any.

-I do not believe you can open the balcony dividers any more.

-Entertainment was a few comedians (Gary Mule Deer and Dean Austin), -The mickey Utley band played C/W music all over the ship, Phil Anderson was in the Schooner Bar, Marty Daniels was in the pub, and a latin trio played in Boleros.

 

The fog was an inconvenience- but we took advantage of the extra time to go ice skating, and have a relaxing breakfast and lunch. As gold members, we went down to the 4th floor dining room to take advantage of the priority C&A disembarking. There we only about 20 people down there, and we were one of the first groups off the ship.
