louanddave Posted April 16, 2005 #1 Share Posted April 16, 2005 Hello We are looking for a Panama Cruise that offers a shore excursion to the San Blas Islands. From what port of call do you get this excursion? If anyone can give me some information, I would really appreciate it Thanks Lou
Hollywould Posted June 1, 2005 #2 Share Posted June 1, 2005 Hi Lou, We are also looking for a cruise that includes the San Blas Island, and found one with MSC. We are seriously considering this cruise after more positive than negative feedback. The cruise leaves out of Ft. Lauderdale and goes to Jamaca, Columbia, San Blas, Panama, Costa Rica and then back to Ft. Lauderdale. :)
beaver Posted November 27, 2005 #3 Share Posted November 27, 2005 We were at San Blas many years ago. Very interesting. We had to tender in .
Twaincruisers Posted December 27, 2005 #4 Share Posted December 27, 2005 We are looking at the MSC Lirica in Jan, Feb, or Mar to get to San Blas, but I know there used to be more than one cruiseline going there in winter. I used to search for ports on the Cruises O... site, but they have removed the port search capability--can only search for departure ports and VTG doesn't seem to have San Blas in its search list. Tendering in is easier than using the little boats they provide when you fly to San Blas!
JLC@SD Posted January 14, 2006 #5 Share Posted January 14, 2006 We were at San Blas many years ago. Very interesting. We had to tender in . The ships today are about the same size as the islands. When we were there in 1984, the kids paddled up in their canoes and dove in the water for the coins the passengers threw from the ship. And the most modern building on the island at that time was the LDS (Mormon) Mission Building we stubbled upon.........;)
